Which sources does Rivalwake work from?
Publicly available websites, social media content, ads as well as newsletters. Offline sources (TV, radio, outdoor, print) can be added on request, uploaded as files.
How often is the report produced?
The rhythm follows your decisions. Collection runs on a schedule, the AI writes the report at the end of the cycle, and the timeline stays searchable in between.
Does it work in my industry?
QSR, FMCG, retail, pharma, automotive, banking: the source set is tailored to the market; the engine stays the same. In the walkthrough we go through the sources of your own category.
Which languages are the report and the interface available in?
Hungarian by default; the report and the interface are available in other languages by agreement.
What data does the system handle?
The system collects no private or personal data. Every finding can be traced back to the original source.
Is the product data on this page real?
The interactive walkthrough shows how it works with fictional brands and illustrative data. A walkthrough tailored to your own market follows after a call.
How does the engagement start?
It starts with a call where we map the competitors, markets as well as sources. We build the offer on that, and configure the system the same way.
How can competitor prices be tracked automatically?
The system fetches competitors' product pages on a schedule, compares them with the previous state, and flags only what changed: a new price, a promotion, a discontinuation. Every price move is added to the timeline and the report with its date and source.
How often should you run a competitor analysis?
In fast-moving markets (FMCG, retail, QSR) continuous monitoring with a weekly or monthly summary is the right rhythm; a deeper analysis works well quarterly. Rivalwake collects data continuously, and we set the report rhythm to match your decisions.
What is share of voice, and how is it measured?
Share of voice shows how much of the market's communication belongs to one brand: the number of its posts, ads or mentions against the total for all tracked brands. The report breaks this down by brand and channel, compared to the previous period.
How do you find out when a competitor launches a new product or changes its ingredients?
Product pages are compared against their previous state at every collection cycle. A new product page, a discontinued product or a changed ingredient list shows up as a change, with the date it was first detected, and is included in the Executive Summary.
What's the difference between market research and market monitoring?
Market research is a periodic, in-depth study of one question. Market monitoring is continuous: it tracks what competitors do on public channels and alerts you in time. Rivalwake does the latter, and the two complement each other well.
Is it better to outsource competitor monitoring or handle it in-house?
In-house works when you have a dedicated person and tooling for it. When outsourced, collection, comparison and reporting run as one service, and your team only needs to read the summary. We agree the scope with you and quote for it.
How much does Rivalwake cost?
There's no list price. The fee depends on the number of brands, markets and channels tracked and the reporting frequency, so every quote is tailored. Write to us, and after a short conversation we'll send a concrete offer.
